Haven't tried odt yet - I'm using rtf because it seems to be a format that
most programs can open. I just tried to resave an rtf in OO.o and it
completely messed up formatting - change from double line spacing to single
in all paragraphs, page numbers disappeared. I also booted up into windows
and tried out the word viewer on an rtf and with some change to margins it
seems to import rtf without problems.

Why OO.o can't get rtf right is a mystery to me. It's one of the oldest
text formats there is.

Just another reason to stick to abiword I think.

If this fortune didn't exist, somebody would have invented it.
