Re: No bullets in lists

I still have problems with the bullet list.

With libwmf installed now, I got Standard Symbols L, too, on my machine. But
with better quality Windows Symbol TTF installed also, this is preferred by
fontconfig (and me).

In general the list properties are editable, but unfortunately I can't change
the font (neither format) used for the bullet list while this is possible for
the number list.

Two questions:

1. My bullet/number list glyphs do have a grey background (while the usual
AbiWord backgound is white). Is this on purpose or just another problem
that I have? (I've never seen this with any other word processor, and it's
   kind of annoying.)

2. What might be the reason that I can't change neither format nor font in
the list property page for bullets (because items are inactive) while I
   can do so for numbers?

I could, of course, simply patch src/af/gr/xp/gr_CairoGraphics.cpp and change
the font back to commented out "Standard Symbols L", but it may be that we
have some general problems with "Symbol" font here which affects (not only)
me but everyone having not only "Standard Symbols L" installed on their
machines.

BTW, who's comment is that in the source: "This substitution does not seem to
be need on my Linux system"? Maybe, this is only right for *some* Linux
systems, and not for all?

Every clue, every suggestion or general source change I could check out
which makes Mac/Cairo users happy as well appreciated.
