For all of you IRIX users, out there, I've *finally* got abiword
compiled and working!
Excellent package, so far, guys!!

In the meantime, here are some snags I've stumbled across.

Info:
Irix 6.5.6, GCC 2.8.1, GTK 1.2.6, abiword 0.7.7

1> Printing
Three problems. First, once the print panel is opened, it opens too
small, messing
up the layout of the buttons/fields/etc. This is fixed by dragging the
panel wider
allowing the GUI to re-layout the buttons.

Second, if I print, but don't have "lpr" as my default printer command,
an error
message is printed on the shell I had launch abiword from, and abiword
locks up.
There is no way for me to correct the problem and retry. (This also
forces me to
kill the process and loose my work!!)

Third, printing locks up the software when printing. I set the printer
command to
"lp" instead of "lpr" and start the print job. No error is reported on
the command line,
and all instances of abiword lock. No printjob on the printer, and a
process that needs
to be killed. Any insight into how abiword passes info the the "lpr"
command would
help me in trouble shooting this..

2> "nosplash" problem.
Have to start abiword with -nosplash.
You guys know about this one already, but would be nice to have fixed!!
:)

looking good, people!
bob..
