Methods of Using AbiWord

  • Select then apply
  • Use Styles (and use the new "Lock Styles" feature to enforce the use of styles if appropriate)
  • Use as a "plain" text editor to "view codes"

Applications for AbiWord

  • Use to convert from uncommon formats to standard ones, i.e. from pdb to txt.
  • Use to automate (script) common administrative tasks.
  • Use for default editor and embedded previews (due to abis speed and flexibility).
