Sigh ... what a shame all that work has to be done such that
each and every application has to be modified. Of course the
support is already there for the QNX applications using the
ftp/http/whatever filesystem =;-) (score one for QNX!).
I haven't looked at it but it would seem that the GnomveVFS
is rather a pain to use. Why didn't they just make a normal
module that plugs into the normal linux VFS layer like the
Alex ftp filesytem? This way applications could just use
the standard open/read/write methods.
