Some more info on that: using SuSE 6.1 (evaluation) from the PC Welt cdrom,
SuSE 6.1 did only hit the ftp-servers this week.
AbiWord-0.5.5 was compiled on the same SuSE 6.1, AbiWord final words about
the word97-doc, after I close it (on purpose), were something like this:
"this looked like a plain text to me".
