Anyone had trouble getting abiWord'd "insert page #'s" function to work?

It won't work for me unless I'm working with an abiword document. (Not a .word
doc).

And even with an abiword document, it won't insert page numbers in the header;
only the footer.

(I'm in 2.0.11, on a win2kPro machine).
