I really don;t understand. Generally you want your word procesor document
to be openned by other word processors. If you don;t you export to pdf.
Abiword has had this featre for the last 3 years.

Well translating any word processor documen tto htmlis oing to be lossy.
The semantics are very different. Do you want to your text to fit into the
browser window or do you want to fit approximately the same width? This is
a classic example of the trade offs. OO.o has exactly the same issues as
does MS Word.

As the author of this feature yes. The extra line is needed so you can add
text after the table. MS Word and OO.o does exactly the same thing.

This can certainly be improved and we have good ideas on how to do this.

I totally disagree with this. OO.o is just catching up to some of the
features we've had for years. we have new features planned that will leap
frog OO.o and MS Word. OO.o and Ms Word have orders of magnitude more more
money directed at them with a far smaller return on effort.

For example, despite all the effort, OO.o-2.0 still starts as slowly as
OO.o-1.1. It's a fundamental problem with their design.

Despite your best attempts to demoralize us and destroy our user base I
can assure you that we will continue to work on the program and
continuously improve our program.

So all in all, GO AWAY and stop your posts here. we have no intention of
stopping, you do not provide any positive feedback only bogus and
demonstrabally wrong "bugs".
