I suspect they may be referring to proposed collaboration tools allowing
multiple users to edit the same document.

I'm optimistic there will be many small improvements in lots of different
places. I'm very interested in the improvements to Normal mode, I may
well stop using text editors like gedit when that work is done (gedit has
more features that are not in abiword but I dont use them and Abiword is a
lot faster unfortunately admins dont always install abiword).

Being able to run Abiword on devices like the Nokia 770 is pretty
impressive if you ask me, not something you are going to be seeing from
OpenOffice anytime soon.

I dont believe anyone has mentioned animation or video support and it
seems like an unlikely feature to be implemented.

Impatient developers prefer to risk losing out on quantity to increase the
chance of getting quality non-duplicate requests.

Bug reprots include an option to "Create Attachment" where you can upload
screenshots.
